The Tumunu is the oldest restaurant in Rarotonga celebrating its 36th birthday this year. Tumunu (translated as 'coconut tree' from Cook Islands Maori) is a relaxed restaurant with garden surroundings that features local artefacts and entertaining memorabilia donated by visitors and locals over the years.
With its tropical garden and unique dining room the Tumunu menu features seafood, vegetarian, steaks, chicken and a children's menu. The Seafood Platter for two is a specialty.
