Held annually to cap off the tourism season, these awards shine a spotlight on the real stars of the Cook Islands—the passionate individuals and local businesses who embody our Kia Orana values and make every visit unforgettable. Across categories honouring everything from Tour Guide of the Year and Hospitality Hero to Mana Tiaki Guardians and Innovation Icons, the awards recognise the warm, authentic hospitality that makes our islands feel like home.
This year, the community showed up in a massive way, casting more than 17,000 votes across 25 incredible finalists to crown our 2026 Kia Orana Champions. A huge meitaki ma'ata to everyone who voted, and a massive congratulations to our five 2026 winners:
